Google Earth is a phenomenal tool, allowing you to sweep over landscapes anywhere in the world and create useful (if often lacking in resolution) video clips. Note the 3D rendering on Glasgow City Centre buildings; it’s really detailed and useful, almost drone-like in parts. To think all this can be created from the comfort of your computer desk, free of charge.
Google Earth obviously offer fantastic usefulness when it comes to property videos as it allows is to show exactly where a property is, in context, relative to local amenities, transport links, and attractions. Strangely, though, we don’t see anyone else in the industry utilising it (it is a difficult piece of software to fathom, but even so…).
