The Property Showcase video goes beyond a more basic walkthrough video in terms of length and quality, with greater emphasis given to synchronisation with music more and creative filming techniques, and utilising more elaborate specialist filming equipment (such as sliders, dollies, booms, and drones).

Property Showcase videos may also incorporate overlay graphics and more advanced editing techniques, with colour grading, filters, and advanced software stablisation techniques employed as standard.

Whilst more expensive and requiring more time to produce, Property Showcase videos will do more to present your property in the best light possible, resulting in a more attractive, watchable, and ultimately more effective marketing investment where sales, bookings, viewings, and lettings are important.

Property Walkthrough or Walk-Through Tour Video

The Property Walkthrough video is typically a fast-moving, dynamic, wide-ranging video that sacrafices style and creativity for coverage. In a nutshell, the aim here is to convey as much to the viewer as possible in the shortest possible timeframe.

Walkthrough videos are great value for money when done prfoessionally and properly; they can succeed where simple photographs fail to give a feel for a property in terms of the space available, how rooms within a property relate to one another, key features such as views from windows, decor, fittings, and the general mood and ambience of rooms and the property as a whole.

The typical duration of our walkthrough video tours is under 60 seconds but there's no hard limit here and where we think there is a case for going beyond that timeframe we will.

Property walkthrough tour videos typicall take 1 to 2 hours to film and we usually deliver them within 24 hours of filming, making us one of the most responsive and fast acting players in Glasgow's property video market.

From HD to Ultra HD and 4k Video, Stablised

Most of the equipment we use at Clyde Digital produces broadcast quality results. This includes the stablisation equipment, the cameras we use, and the software itself. Most of our main cameras are manufactured by Sony, with the exception of on-board drone cameras (DJI) and a couple of GoPros which we generally use for timelapse photography.

	The Sony A7S II is our main full frame camera for video. It performs particularly well in low light and has proven to be a solid work horse when it comes to property videos which, being indoors, will invariably be shot in challenging light.
	The Sony MC2500 HD looks imposing but it's extremely simple to use and has a fantastic lens and focal range. It's also very good in low light and nothing is as smooth at panning and tilting on a sturdy tripod.
	If there was one camera that we couldn't live without, it's the Sony A6300. Talk about packing a punch... anyone thinking of getting into video making and property video making in particular would be well advised to look into this gem. It shoots 4k and is small and light enough to use anywhere (it's particularly good on a gimbal).
	We have a love-hate relationship with the Hero 5 Session (and GoPro generally). We use this a lot for timelapse work and it's great for that but the GoPro app which you are more or less forced to use lets it down badly. (Our GoPro Hero 5 Black is on the blink right now and has given us nothing but trouble since we purchased it.. so much so that it would be impossible to review it).
	We are currently waiting to upgrade our Phantom 3 Advanced which has served us extremely well for over 2 years now. Even with a drone licence, restrictions and perceptions have made the use of drones problematic and with new laws expected in 2018, we are wondering where the future lies.
	When it comes to Tripods, nobody beats Manfrotto. Our main-use video tripod is the Manfrotto 502HD which is super-huge and super-stable. We use this mainly for outdoor establishing shots for property videos. It's also useful for stills photograph when it comes to both house interior shots and exteriors.
	The Zhiyune Crane II has revolutionised our video-making, providing near perfect stability whilst moving through rooms and around houses. We tried out the DJI Ronin, which was probably as good in terms of the results produced, but it just took too long to put together and set up. Batter power on the Zhiyune Crane is one of its biggest positives (we get days of use out of one charge). Most of the property videos we make rely on use of the Zhiyune Crane for mobile stability.
	When it comes to editing and creativity generally, we depend on Adobe's Creative Cloud. With our expansive knowledge of design, animation, and multimedia generally, the Creative Cloud Suite is a no-brainer- we simply need it. Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects are open at all times in our office, providing unparalleled potential when it comes to video production and a bunch of related design areas.

If an average web user looks at two very similar properties online and one has a good quality walkthrough tour video, then the data suggests not only that they will watch the video but that they will act upon it. The percentages make it clear, adverts and listings which include videos perform spectacularly well compared to those that do not. This is the world we live in today and not only is it not likely to reverse back or veer in some other direction, there's no real alternative to video in terms of its popularity and effectiveness in marketing, everything points to this trend continuing and deepening.

Those without showcase videos will simply lose out.
